Click Join in the top navigation (it's labeled "Sign Up" in the mobile menu). You'll need a unique username and email address. Your account is active immediately after registering.

Click the purple + Create button in the top right of any page and choose Meme. Pick Image, YouTube, or Instagram, then upload an image or GIF from your device (up to 10MB) or paste the video's URL. A Title and Genre are required — caption, tags, and posting to a collective are optional, under "Additional details." If you uploaded an image, you can also send it to Creator Studio first to add text and stickers. Hit Post Meme when you're ready.

A meme is an image, GIF, or video — the primary content type on FEDORA. A status post is a short text update, like a tweet. You can write a status post from the compose box at the top of your home feed. Status posts support @mentions and privacy settings.

Go to Templates and click Use Template on any template. This opens the full meme editor where you can:

• Add text layers with custom fonts, colors, and stroke
• Add stickers from the OpenMoji library
• Adjust image brightness, contrast, and saturation
• Undo/redo your changes
• Post directly to your feed or download the finished meme

A FEDORA.meme watermark is applied automatically before posting.

Go to Templates and click Submit Template. Upload your image and give it a name. Member-submitted templates are reviewed by staff before going live. Admin-uploaded templates are published immediately.

When posting a meme, add tags in the Tags field under "Additional details," separated by commas (e.g. doge, crypto, based). Multi-word tags like "Tony Hawk" work fine too. Tags make your meme discoverable via search and the Explore page. You can also search for any tag from the search bar.

Use the search bar at the top of any page, or go to Search directly. Type in a keyword and your results are grouped into Memes, People, Forums, and Posts tabs, each showing a live count of matches. Click a tab to narrow to just that type, or stay on All to see a mix of everything. Meme results show the same like, comment, and view counts you'll see on Explore and Saved.

Collectives are interest-based groups — like subreddits but for memes. Browse all collectives at Collectives, join the ones that match your interests, and when you post a meme you can optionally share it into a collective's feed. Any member can create a collective.

Go to Community to browse all forum categories. Click into a category to see threads, or start your own thread with the New Thread button. You can reply to posts, like and repost them, and @mention other members.

Type @ followed by a username in any comment, status post, or forum reply. A dropdown will appear with matching members. Select the person to insert their @mention. They'll receive a notification.

Visit someone's profile and click the envelope icon next to the Follow button. This opens a quick compose window — write your message and hit Send to start the conversation. You can also go to Messages and click New Message to search for someone to message.

XP is earned through activity on the platform:

• Posting a meme
• Receiving likes, comments, bookmarks, or reposts on your memes
• Creating a forum thread or replying to one
• Receiving likes on your forum posts and threads

Your Level tracks all the XP you've ever earned — it only ever goes up, and it's what shows on your profile and next to your posts. Your Available XP (shown on your XP & Levels page) is a separate, spendable balance — it goes down when you use it to run a Boost or swap it for $DORA. Spending or swapping XP never affects your Level or your spot on the Leaderboard, since both are based on everything you've earned over time, not what you currently have on hand.

Yes. First, link a Solana wallet from Settings if you haven't already. Once it's linked, an "XP → $DORA Swap" card appears there showing your Available XP. Click Swap at fedora.foundation to open fedora.foundation and connect the same wallet there — that wallet is what links your two accounts, so make sure it matches. From fedora.foundation, you can bring your XP over and cash it out for $DORA tokens. Swapping deducts from your Available XP balance here on FEDORA.meme, but your Level and Leaderboard rank are untouched — a swap only ever moves your spendable balance, never what you've earned.

Your Analytics page is split into a Memes tab and a Community tab, plus a Boosts tab if you've ever run a boost. The Memes tab covers your Meme Performance (posts, likes, views, comments, bookmarks, reposts, followers), your Top Memes, and your most-used tags. The Community tab shows the same breakdown for your forum activity, plus your Top Fans — the people who like your content the most. There's also an activity chart and your full XP history.

The 7 Days / 30 Days / 90 Days / All Time tabs at the top of Analytics control every card and the chart together — Meme Performance, Community Activity, Top Memes, Top Fans, and the activity chart all update to match whichever period you pick. All Time covers your entire history on FEDORA, going all the way back to your very first post.

Click Forgot Password on the login page. Enter your email address and we'll send you a reset link. The link expires after a short time — if it expires, just request another.

Click your avatar in the top navigation and choose Edit Profile, or go to your profile page and click the Edit Profile button. Either way you can update your display name, bio, avatar, and banner image. Changes are saved immediately.

Click the three-dot menu on any post or visit someone's profile to find the Report or Block options. Blocking prevents them from seeing your content or messaging you. Reports go to our moderation team for review.

Go to Settings and scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom of the Account tab, then click Delete My Account. Type your username to confirm and your account is deleted immediately - no need to contact support or wait on a request. Your login, profile, and personal info are removed right away. Memes, comments, and forum posts you've contributed stay up so replies and threads still make sense, but they'll show as posted by "Deleted User" instead of your name. Per our Privacy Policy, some data may be retained for legal or security purposes.
